The issue with this luggage was long term storage due to world wide travel restrictions due to Covid-19. After easing of travel restriction early 2022, the owner planning for a overseas trip found that the original thread holding the zipper was not strong and was worn as a result.
Completed re-sewing of zipper with stronger thread.
The blue Ragdoll brand luggage was repaired by re-sewing of the zipper using a stronger thread. Owner can retain the original zipper pull tabs.

The zipper was sewn with a special hand sewing tool to sew on a stronger thread onto the zipper. We bought a stronger thread that can withstand demanding usage for luggage and resewn the zipper with the replacement thread. In this way, the owner can retain the original zipper with its original branding on the zipper pulls.
